More Information about Loveland

Loveland, Colorado, also known as Colorado's "Sweetheart City", may best be nationally known for its annual Valentine's Day card re-mailing program, where over 200,000 Valentine's Day cards get routed through Loveland's post office for the special stamp and postmark bearing the city's name. But for the 50,000 plus residents who call it home, there are a variety of other reasons to love living in Loveland.

Located just 46 miles north of Denver, Loveland is the second most populated area of Larimer County, having earned the distinction as the northern commercial hub of the Denver metro outlying areas. Not to be confused with the Loveland Ski area west of Denver, Loveland's focus on the arts shines through the many unique bronze foundries and galleries sprinkled throughout the downtown and surrounding areas.

Home to the Budweiser Events Center, and three centers of higher learning, including the northern satellite of Colorado Christian University, bundled amicably together with Fort Collins, Loveland is the recipient of numerous "Best Place to Live" awards.
